School to reopen tomorrow!

Dear Parents/Carers, 

We are delighted to confirm that the remaining blocked drains have been successfully cleared and full sanitisation has taken place, so we have the 'all clear' to re-open as normal tomorrow for all year groups.

Please be assured that no raw sewage has entered any of the school buildings and areas on East Block Yard and car park have been properly cleaned. Although the academy has not been affected internally, cleaning teams have been operating to ensure hygiene standards continue to be met and the school is ready for students. 

Plans are already underway to compensate for any lost learning/ revision. Further information will follow in the coming days. 

We are confident this will not affect student outcomes due to our excellent curriculum planning, which has built in flexibility, and was praised by Ofsted in our recent Outstanding judgement.

This has been an unprecedented situation and we thank you for your patience and support as always.
