Year 11 Students Shine at Unforgettable Prom Night

The Year 11 cohort from Oulton Academy celebrated the end of their secondary school journey in spectacular fashion last night at the elegant Kings Croft Hotel.

Students made a grand entrance on the red carpet, greeted by enthusiastic applause from staff who gathered to cheer them on. Dressed in their finest, the students embraced the glamour of the evening with style and confidence.

The event, meticulously organised by Miss O’Connor, featured a sumptuous three-course meal, a lively dance floor, and the much-anticipated crowning of the Prom King and Queen. A photo booth provided by Afinite added a fun and memorable touch, capturing the joy and excitement of the night.

Throughout the evening, students exemplified the core values of Oulton Academy – respect, responsibility, and resilience – conducting themselves with maturity, kindness, and a real sense of community. Staff praised their impeccable behaviour and positive spirit. “It was a fantastic celebration of their hard work and achievements,” said one member of staff. “They truly did themselves proud.”

The prom marked a fitting farewell for a remarkable year group, filled with laughter, celebration, and lasting memories.
