Oulton Academy Summer Showcase 2025: A Celebration of Talent and Community

Oulton Academy was alive with energy, creativity, and community spirit during the 2025 Summer Showcase, a spectacular evening that brought together students, staff, families, and trustees to celebrate the performing arts in all their forms.

The event featured a vibrant variety of acts, including music, drama, and dance, showcasing the incredible talent and hard work of our students. From powerful drama pieces and energetic dance routines to soulful musical performances, each act reflected the passion and dedication of our young performers.

One of the evening’s most memorable moments came at the end, when the staff band brought the house down with a rousing rendition of “Proud Mary.” The performance turned into a full-blown sing-along, with the audience clapping, dancing, and singing in unison—an unforgettable finale that perfectly captured the spirit of the night.

We were honoured to welcome members from our trustees and central team including Gareth Logan, Chair of Trustees at Carlton Academy Trust, who summed up the evening perfectly:

Principal John Higgins also shared his pride in the school community:
