Maths City Discover Center Visit

Our Year 7 students embarked on an enriching excursion to Maths City at the Trinity Centre in Leeds, delving into the interactive maths-themed discovery centre. This educational journey provided our students with a first hand experience of the profound impact and significance of mathematics as a fundamental tool for comprehending our surrounding world.

During the visit, our students not only had a blast constructing a Leonardo Dome but also engaged in solving intricate 3D puzzles and delving into the fascinating realm of topography using the augmented reality table. These hands-on activities not only fostered a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts but also ignited a passion for learning and exploration.

Moreover, we are grateful to the dedicated staff at the Trinity Center for their efforts in making the session both informative and enjoyable. The excursion showcased our students' enthusiasm for learning and their ability to embody the core values of our school, demonstrating their commitment to excellence and curiosity.
