Oulton Academy Achieves Year 2 Completion Badge for Embedding Formative Assessment
Oulton Academy has proudly been awarded the Year 2 Completion Badge for Embedding Formative Assessment (EFA) by the Schools, Students, and Teachers (SSAT) network. This recognition reflects the academy's ongoing commitment to enhancing teaching and learning practices through innovative and effective formative assessment strategies.
The Embedding Formative Assessment program, developed by SSAT in collaboration with internationally renowned educational researcher Dylan Wiliam, focusses on fostering continuous improvement in classroom practices. It empowers educators to implement strategies that actively involve students in their learning journey, improve feedback, and create a collaborative classroom culture.
