Award Winning Artwork!

Department for Transport Art Competition

Students from across the school recently completed the competition with art club after school and they also came in on their breaktimes to meet the deadline. The theme was Rothwell and Wakefield as that is his constituency, and also transport as he is the Shadow Minister for transport.

Violet F, who painted the green/blue/yellow bus, has had her work chosen to be displayed in London, in the Department of Transport offices.

Dalia Z, who created "the pigeons"has had her work chosen to be display in the constituency offices in Wakefield.

Chloe C and Orla H were runners up in a very close contest and the following students also took part in this competition, all having their entries shortlisted:

Olivia B, Lacey C, Emily C, Jessica B-L, William M, Ossian M, Olivia F, Lacey C, Mollie E and Scarlotte K
